ABOUT THE SHOW
Sarah is a nice Jewish girl with a problem: her parents want her married to a nice Jewish boy. They've never met her boyfriend, a WASP executive named Chris Cringle. She tells them she's dating a Jewish doctor, and they insist on meeting him. So she hires a male escort named Bob Schroeder to impersonate the perfect Dr. Steinberg at a family dinner. But Bob isn’t actually Jewish, and Sarah is sure her plan is undone. Hilarity ensues when Bob not only fools Sarah’s family, but wins their hearts, and maybe Sarah’s, too. The Chicago Tribune described this hometown hit from James Sherman as “a light, sweet romantic comedy” and a definite crowd-pleaser.
